An Hausa woman selling perishable goods at barracks junction had little misunderstanding with keke rider that conveyed her and her goods to barracks junction. The keke rider insisted that she pays him a certain amount of money for conveying her from market to barracks junction. But the Hausa woman refused. After some dragging and pushing, the woman went and reported the case to her Hausa brothers,” Aluma Jona wrote. “The brothers came to defend their sister, and one of them stabbed the keke rider. The keke rider was rushed to Bishop shanahan hospital Nsukka, where he is currently receiving treatment. Keke riders associations went on rampage seeking for revenge. No life was lost. They only destroyed some perishable goods, and blocked road for some minutes. They were stopped from destroying properties belonging to Hausa people or even attacking Hausa people.
