Police arrest 4 OPC members for beating man to death in Lagos

The Police operatives attached to the Bariga Division of the Lagos State Police Command on Saturday, February 13 arrested four members of Oodua People’s Congress (OPC) for beating and stabbing one Tochukwu Chidi, 35, of No 76 Arobadede Street,Bariga, to death after an argument with them at Temple Street, Bariga, Lagos. A statement released by the spokesperson of the state police command, Muyiwa Adejobi, states that the suspects attacked the deceased and inflicted injuries on him. He was rushed to the General Hospital, Bariga for treatment before he was confirmed dead. Muyiwa gave the names of the suspects as Sunday Onilede, m, 35, Azan Razak,  m, 35, Abdullahi Ibrahim, m, 29, and Fatai Taiwo, m, 40,.  The spokesperson added that the state Commissioner of Police,  Lagos State,  CP Hakeem Odumosu, has condemned the act and directed that the matter be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti, Yaba for proper investigation and prosecution.  The post Police arrest 4 OPC members for beating man to death in Lagos appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
