Gunmen shoot secondary school student, abduct his 17-year-old sister in Nasarawa

Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers shot a 20-year-old student of Demonstration Secondary School Akwanga, Nasarawa State, Kyuni Jonathan Bala and abducted his sister. The father of the victims, Salisu Mohammed Bala, who confirmed the incident on Wednesday, September 8, said that his 17-year-old daughter, Blessing Jonathan Bala was abducted during the operation which occurred on Monday September 6. “My son is currently at the hospital receiving medical attention”, he added. Meanwhile, the principal of Demonstration Secondary School, Mr. Elkahna Iwala, has sympathized with the family of the victims over the unfortunate incident and prayed for quick recovery of his student.  Spokesperson of the State Police Command, ASP Ramhan Nansel, who confirmed the abduction, said that the police are on the trail of the kidnappers.  The post Gunmen shoot secondary school student, abduct his 17-year-old sister in Nasarawa appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
