LAUTECH understudy, 15 others captured for supposed outfitted burglary, cultism

The Police in Oyo State on Thursday said it had captured 16 associates, including an understudy of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, over supposed equipped burglary, cultism and scheme.

The Commissioner of Police in the state, Mr Shina Olukolu, revealed this while instructions newsmen of the direction’s exercises at the police central command, Eleyele, Ibadan.

Olukolu said that the suspects were accepted to be the offenders threatening individuals of the state over the most recent couple of weeks.

He said that the captured LAUTECH understudy had admitted to being an individual from unlawful Eiye mystery confraternity in the foundation and had been releasing pandemonium on individuals from the general population and understudies.

Olukolu said that agents of Special Anti-Robbery Squad captured the understudy following a tip-off on June 6 at about 7.30 p.m. in Aroje region, Ogbomoso.

As per him, the suspects from that point took their unfortunate casualty to Inalende region of Ibadan and perpetrated a few wounds on her and bolted her inside a room.

He said that the unfortunate casualty was saved by the police through data given by individuals from general society “and the suspects were captured”.

Olukolu said that a Toyota Camry vehicle and different things purchased with the cash were recuperated from the suspects.
